Les Archanges - Jésus régne

My Best song from their latest album,Enjoy!

BRAVO LES ARCHANGES (CONGOLESE GOSPEL MUSIC GROUP)

First of all i would like to congratulate the Les Archanges of launching their second Album titled Jesu Ami (in French) or Jesus my Friend. I have listened to a few of the songs in the Album and all i can say is wow. Their vocals and artistic sense has really grown compared to their first album, Breathe of Life, which they did in 2004. Apart from growing vocally, they have also developed physically and the little girl,Victorie, whom you see singing in peuple de dieu video,is actually now very grown up and she does a very good job in leading some of their concert songs. I believe that this second album of theirs will be more successful than the first one which was a very big hit especially among the teenage population. The Archanges have been able to travel to countries such as Belgium,Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands. We hope that this time they will tour around the US.

The group has also faced very tabulent times whereby the most popular member of the group called Gaelle, left the group after some internal wrangles.Although the group has not disclosed much about the disagreement, they said that Gaelle left the group out of selfwill and not circumstances. This has really annoyed many funs of the Les archanges who up to know are asking why?? Nobody thought that the group would go strong without Gaelle but they have proved the exact opposite. The good news is that the Archanges are still Singing and Praising God to their uttermost with the talents which God gave them as it is God who has prospered the group and not any member or sponsor. You go Archanges and i cant wait to see you guyz here in the USA.

Here they are with my one time Favourite,"Jesus Regne" which means God Reigns. Be blessed People.

THE VERY BEST OF EUNICE NJERI

This is a promo of Eunice's album titled Bwana Yesu which was done by Africanacts and you can actually now purchase her music online.I will be giving more details later on how to.Enjoy!!!

EUNICE NJERI

Eunice Njeri, whom about three years ago many had not even heard about her,is definately a house hold name in the Kenya Gospel Music scene today.I can still remember her back in the days she used to sing at Joan Mwangangi's queens night at Nairobi cinema and later City Hall and to tell you the truth,i never imagined(and im sure she also never did) that she would be one of the hottest and talented female gospel artists to take the Kenyan gospel music scene by storm. Little did she know what the master had for her. Eunice Njeri's musical journey started at a very young age back in primary school when she would sing in school music events. She lead the school choir and even started to write her own songs. But her journey has not been easy at all. In 2003,she came to Nairobi, naive as she was and jobless, to live with a relative who chased her away as they could not understand why she spent time doing music instead of looking for a proper job. Can you even imagine that she had to sleep out in the cold and on the streets but she never gave up. She joined the harvest church whereby she did not only grow spiritually but also musically. In 2007,her debut album,Bwana Yesu, produced by billy frank and prince cam media was produced. Since then, her career and ministry has flourished and let me assure you guys that this is definately one gospel artiste to watch out for. Above are some of the videos from her latest album Bwaba Yesu.

GODS ARMY DANCE GROUP: UGANDA'S FINEST

This is a group of young people taking the ugandan, and recently, the East African music scene by storm and they are known as God's army. The dance group is made up of fifteen young women and men who are very talented in music and dance. I personally remember watching this group at Uhuru Park during the Nuru Gizani crusades and wow, they are just the bomb. Their dances are filled with energy, charisma and off course the annointing, for sure they are awesome. They recently featured at the Hot Steps Competition recently held at hotel Africana in Uganda. But it has not been very easy for this young energetic souls. The group is made up of young adults who were orphaned at a very young age and thus struggled for many years. The groups founder Jimmy Kwoba, while at Jinja, identified this group of young men and women and thought that they could wave a career out of dance while reaching souls for christ. That is how Gods Army was formed and this was back in 2003. In 2005, they decided to move to Kampala, Uganda where they set up a base at the Holy Ghost Powering Center, and since then the sky has been the limit. For instance, this is the only group that curtain raised for Kirk Franklin and Papa San while they toured Uganda. The group has just finalised working their debut album entitled "Talimba".The group’s moves don’t just come on a silver platter. They train vigorously daily, something easier said than done because of the fact that they live together therefore cannot escape the watchful eye of the group director.

This group of ten young lady's between the ages of 13 and 19 years have definately prooved that age does not matter when it comes to praising God as this girls really sing for the lord. Although they are Congolese, they currently reside in France where they also record their music and they have been recognized by numerous media companies such as Casarhema and royaume-eternel media companies.I n Africa, they are quite well know especially in central and north west Africa. BET SUNDAY,S BEST GRAND WINNER

Two years ago, The 34 year old Songbird of the Northwest could not have dreamed that The Master had such great things in store for her. She herself said this was not a part of her wildest imagination, But when the Tacoma, Washington RN was solicited by a stranger to audition for BET’s Sunday Best, she heeded the call, packed up her awesome talent, winning smile and beautiful personality – and the rest as they say is history. She took home the grand prize, a recording contract with Zomba Gospel and a 2008 Camry.
A church girl at heart, Crystal grew up in the pews of the Altheimer Memorial Church of God In Christ in Tacoma singing in the children’s Sunshine Band, which led to directing and of course more singing. These experiences allowed her to spread her wings to a local group called Heaven Sent Us and finally to Soul who at their pinnacle travelled extensively in the 90s and even got the privilege of showcasing at the GMWA. No talent was spared in undergirding the vocal talents of Miss Crystal Aikin as a bevy of heavyweight producers were solicited to produce this 10-song hymnal. Hailing from within and without the traditional “churched” genre one can find the writing wares of PAJAM, Kirk Franklin, Asaph Ward and Gerald Haddon. Her album is now available for purchase at blackgospel.com

MAKOMA 1997 TO 2005

MAKOMA, the singing family are definately not strangers to the African gospel music scene especially after scooping the award for the best African Gospel Group at the 2002 Kora Awards Ceremony held in South Africa. The group is made up of Annie Makoma, who designs most of the groups outfits, Martin Makoma who originates the groups dance moves, Pangani Makoma, Tutala Makoma, Patrick Badine a friend, Nathalie Makoma the lead singer and Duma Makoma. They started performing in 1995 as a group called Nouveau Testament. Upon relocating to Germany and later Holland, they became Makoma. They attend the Bima Church which is in Rotterdam where they currently reside. Mulangi ya Pembe, an uncle, was a renowned comedian from Zaire (DR Congo).

Actually many people do not know that Makoma started off by singing secular music before going gospel but they still managed to come up with great hits such as baby come and the clapping song. They released there first gospel album in 2000 known as "Jesus for life"(NZAMBE NA BOMOYI). Since then up to 2005 they released 3 albums but the group underwent a transition which i will brief very soon but Makoma still exists nd below are some of there hits before 2005!Go Makoma You Rock!
